Kayla has been a best friend to the bride for many years. They met while working together at Aurora Baycare as nurses. They both share a passion for rescuing and fostering dogs, and one day hope to run their own dog rescue!

Erin is also a best friend of Erika’s. They have known each other for 15 years and have worked together throughout the years as nurses. Erin was the one who convinced Erika to start working in the cardiac cath lab with her, where Erika later met Matt.
